Craziest Inventions Ever Made    [Report Abuse]

Posted by: ideas-bank
With the intelligence of inventions, people have been able to invent many things that have been not only efficient but also very helpful to our lives. But have you ever thought of the dumbest inventions that people ever invented? Well in 1953, somebody invented a curved barrel machine gun which was made for shooting around the corners. That person thought about the gun holder’s safety. This simply means that the person shooting would die first before killing his enemy. Another silly invention that was made in 1961 is the invention of illuminated tires. They were created from a particular piece of artificial rubber and were brightly lit by bulbs that were mounted inside the rim: completely unnecessary.
In 1955, somebody invented a cigarette holder that one could use to smoke many lit cigars. I guess that he made it for smoking addicts. There was no need for such inventions to be written in history as they were completely useless. Perhaps these inventors used more time and energy experimenting with their failed inventions than the useful ones. Charles L. Langs invented strapless, backless, wireless, support-less bras. These bras could never be worn as they did not have support. That was the year 1949. Some of the people who invented such things must have done it just for fun. The inventions were not only funny but also not logic. Possibly they could have been in the process of experimenting but they were misunderstood.
The president of Zeus Corp, Mr. Robert L. Stern designed a cigarette holder with a shade for himself. This holder was meant to prevent the cigarette from being extinguished when it was raining. He must have been a professional in smoking. Another silly invention that was made is “beating breasts” in 1963. It was somewhere in Japan where they had built in heartbeat. They were intended for making very young children go to sleep. The one that I have always found very funny is the baby holder in 1937. It was made by Jack Milford, who played hockey with the Wembley Monarchs ice hockey team. This baby holder was supposed to be used to hold the baby as the whole family went for ice-skating. Others were like cigarette holder for two, a crazy wooden dog leash among others.
